Amina Murić, Executive Director, is from Rožaje. She graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy in Nikšić, Department for English Language and Literature. Since 2018, she has been a Master’s student at the Faculty of Foreign Languages, University Mediterranean in Podgorica. She worked in the Railway Transport of Montenegro for 10 years, where she was engaged in the following positions: English Language Translator/Interpreter, Associate in International Projects and PR Manager. As a PR manager, she was in charge of corporate public relations, announcements, communications, as well as appearance and presentation of the company website. S Since April 2019 she has been engaged as a teaching assistant in the courses Business English in Studies of I, II and III years at the Faculty of Tourism of University Mediterranean. During her professional career, she has also worked as a Project Assistant on several projects funded by international institutions such as the World Bank, European Union and EBRD.

She loves movies, biking and travelling.

Mehdina Kašić Šutković, coordinator, lives in Podgorica. She completed her basic studies at the Faculty of Political Science, European Studies Department, and then enrolled in specialist studies at the same faculty, International Relations Department.

She successfully completed training as a Youth Leader as part of USAID’s Hope Fellowships. In the organization of Forum MNE and Save the Children, she completed the training for a youth activist. During the years spent in the NGO sector, she gained experience in working with children and youth.

Mehdina is a Montenegro representative at the London Academy of Art & Craft Decoupage. She loves creativity and handicrafts and has a YouTube channel, “Creativa MK,” where she shares her creativity with others.

Mehdina and her husband, Mirza, have a son, Kerrim, and a daughter, Merjem.

Vaskrsija Klačar, Project Coordinator, was born in Pljevlja. She completed her undergraduate and specialist studies at the Faculty of Political Science, University of Montenegro.

She initiated her career in the civil sector through a professional training program. Since 2023, she has been actively involved in the Youth Initiative for Human Rights (YIHR), working as a coordinator on various projects. Her engagement encompasses diverse project activities undertaken by YIHR, with a particular focus on projects related to the protection of rights for vulnerable groups such as Roma, LGBTIQ individuals, women, and transitional justice.

Involvement in transitional justice topics:

Vaskrsija actively participates in every commemorative event for war crimes that occurred in Montenegro, demonstrating a profound dedication to respecting victims and promoting justice. She has a keen interest in understanding the complexities of transitional justice, including aspects such as reparations, reconciliation initiatives, confronting the past, transgenerational trauma, regional cooperation, testimonial collection methods, artistic representation, reflection on victims, and the dangers of retraumatization. She recognizes the importance of transitional justice in healing post-conflict societies and working towards sustainable peace.

Through her commitment and activism, Vaskrsija passionately advocates for raising young people’s awareness of the dangers of hate speech and its negative impacts. Simultaneously, she emphasizes the importance of nurturing a culture of remembrance as a means of confronting the past and building a better future.

She enjoys traveling and watching good movies.

Danijela Darmanović, Administrative Assistant, was born in Pljevlja. She completed her undergraduate and specialist studies at the  Faculty of Political Science of the University of Montenegro, specializing in European Studies.

After completing her undergraduate studies, she volunteered for two years at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Directorate for the United Nations, where she became familiar with the work of the UN. She was a participant in the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) on Strategic Trade Management and Export Control, organized by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the United States. She completed Diplomatic Academy.

Danijela was a participant in the School of Transitional Justice organized by YIHR.

She passed the professional exam for work in state institutions and completed basic courses in accounting and photography.

She has a daughter, Sara, and a son, Petar, with her husband, Nemanja.
