Inspired by an international movement of more than 100,000 people, Youth Initiative for Human Rights (YIHR) will be joining the Fare Football People action weeks on Tuesday, 10 October 2017 when it holds a football game (6+1 players) in the framework of the project “Let’s play together”.

Public officers and representatives of NGOs shall play football jointly with Roma.
The Football People action weeks are a football-focused social campaign organised by the Fare network in October aimed at tackling all barriers that exclude people and communities. We want to remind that Roma community in our society is excluded and that the ethnical distance towards Roma is causing concern.
Between 5 and 19 October, professional clubs and players, the grassroots and amateur side of the game and thousands of others on social media will celebrate the power of football to unite people and celebrate the difference. During 2016, more than two thousands activities were organized in Europe. More than 100 thousand were directly involved. YIHR is part of this movement and we are happy that we can rely on them and celebrate together.
Fare network Executive Director Piara Powar said: “The Football People weeks is an important period for European football as it brings together all of those who watch, play or run the sport and supports inclusion and diversity across its structures while challenging intolerance and discrimination.“
YIHR and Fare invite you to watch the football game and encourage all groups engaged in combating discrimination to join Football People weeks. Football game will take place on Tuesday at 19:00, on the terrain of the Sport Center DADEX in Masline.

Sincerely,

Milan Radović
Project Coordinator
