As part of the “No impunity for the past” project, we organized training for journalists on searching the archives of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) and the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Courts.

The training was attended by journalists from five different Montenegrin media, all with the aim of better studying and searching for war facts from the 1990s, which will help them in their research stories on dealing with the past. Both the theoretical and practical part of the ICTY and Mechanism databases were covered, and the lecturers were Helena Eggleston, the Mechanism’s spokesperson, and Nemanja Stjepanović, a researcher of the Information Mechanism Program.
