Today we mark the 28th anniversary of the crime in Strpci, when members of the Army of Republika Srpska (VRS) took out and killed 20 passengers, non-Serb civilians, at a train station in Strpci (BiH) from a train running on the Belgrade-Bar route. (more…)

FOCUS GROUPS WITH YOUNG PEOPLE
The Youth Network of Montenegro was founded by 35 youth organizations, organizations working with and for young people, as well as youth unions. The network is an umbrella organization of young people, whose mission is to represent the rights and interests of young people, create and advocate solutions to systemic challenges, connect youth policy actors and strengthen the capacities of members. MEETING IN IDC ON THE 70TH ANNIVERSARY OF EUROPEAN CONVENTION ON HUMAN RIGHTS
On November 4, in the Information and Documentation Center, we held a meeting with Lidija Vukčević – Prosecutor in the Special State Prosecutor’s Office, Nerma Dobardžić – Deputy Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms, Edin Koljenovic – Head of the Regional Youth Cooperation Office (RYCO) in Montenegro, Rifat Fejzic – Reis of the Islamic Community, and Boris Raonic – member of the IDC Council. In this way, we marked the 70th anniversary of the European Convention on Human Rights. The meeting was of informative and consultative character in order to develop further cooperation.

INFORMATION AND DOCUMENTATION CENTER ON WAR CRIMES HAS BEEN OPENED IN PODGORICA
President of the Parliament of Montenegro Aleksa Bečić, Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro N.E. Oana Kristina Popa and Milan Radović from the Youth Initiative for Human Rights officially opened the Information and Documentation Center on War Crimes today. The Center was established as part of the “No impunity for the past” project implemented by the Youth Initiative for Human Rights, funded by the Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro, and co-financed by the Ministry of Public Administration.
